Event Descriptions and Times

5k Run/Walk – 9:05 am : A beautiful – but challenging – 3.1 mile certified course along azalea-lined neighborhood streets with police controlling traffic.  Live bands playing along the course to inspire you as you run and a water table at about 1.5 miles.  Timers at 1 and 2 miles.

1 Mile Challenge Run – 8:30 am :  The perfect event for kids 8-14!  The one mile course starts on Queens Chapel in front of University Park Elementary School.  Participants make a loop nearly the length of Queens Chapel Rd. and finish back at the front of the school.

1 K Family  Fun Run – 8:45 am : Starting in front of UPES, this event is for the youngest runners.  Participants make a 1/2 mile loop along Queens Chapel and finish in front of the school.  For safety and liability reasons, strollers are not permitted.  Please plan accordingly!

Dog Walk – 7:00pm; Friday, April 16 : Join friends and neighbors – and their dogs - for a non-competitive 2 mile dog walk through University Park on Friday, April 16 at 7:00PM.  Remember dogs must be on a leash at all time!
